About Me

Welcome! My name is Nazret Degaulle, and I am the person behind the camera. A little about me: I'm an older sister, an avid reader, Eritrean-American, a huge Frozen enthusiast, and deeply passionate about social justice.

I've always had a strong connection to storytelling, whether through the written word, visual art, or music and dance. As I've grown older, I've discovered that my love for storytelling extends to other mediums, such as photography. Photography holds a unique power; unlike other visual arts, it captures snapshots of the real world. Unlike words that unveil narratives, it offers a visual glimpse into a specific moment in time. And unlike music, photography speaks silently yet profoundly. Like all these art forms, photography inspires and moves humanity by showing us realities that differ from our individual life perspectives. I believe that revealing how life exists as a stubborn paradox is necessary to achieve a peaceful world.

Unveiling such complex yet profound narratives is my passion. Whether that will be through news writing, music, film, or photography, time will tell. But for now, allow me to tell your story. Let's capture your essence, authenticity, and spirit, and watch history unfold through my lens.
